SODA MACHINE REVELATIONS
In this homage to Stranger Things, Phillip and Randie share their deepest writerly secrets and reveal hidden truths about the inner workings of The Writing Center. This fun parody introduces students, faculty, and administrators to the center in a lively and engaging way.
Voices of The Writing Center
Over the course of the last year, we launched a video series called “Voices of The Writing Center.” The series profiles individual tutors and is shared on our Facebook page. Providing a window into our staff has helped us connect to our student body and allowed us to introduce new tutors to students as well as faculty. In the video below, I discuss the importance of staying confident and give a shout out to our extraordinary peer tutors.
Celebrate Black History Month
Last February, we recorded interviews with students and faculty discussing their favorite African-American authors, thinkers, and inventors. The Writing Center posted a new interview each week and played a critical role in college’s Black History Month celebrations.
TWC Students Speak
I am excited to announce the new TWC Speaks video series! In the this series, tutors interview students with whom they have worked. Each video highlights the ways our center has impacted student success.
TWC Staff Speaks
We are also having tutors interview one another about how their experience working in the center has affected them professionally and personally.
